Conserving Land, Preserving History and Sharing with the Community

Our property is open to the public at no charge and includes miles of walking trails. We installed a deer fence and automated irrigation system to create a community garden. More than 40 families and a Cub Scout Pack from Mt. Lookout grew plots in the garden last year. Given the strong interest in this community activity, we tripled the size of the garden in 2011. We welcome new gardeners to Valley View. The garden brings together families and friends from across Greater Cincinnati.
A Little About Us
Valley View is a 150-acre nature preserve and education facility located near the confluence of the East Fork and Little Miami Rivers in Milford, Clermont County, Ohio. Valley View Foundation is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation. We have an all volunteer board and a part time Executive Director - Vanessa Hannah. We were formed in 2002 by residents of Milford and others who were interested in preserving a historic farm and ecosystem for current and future generations to enjoy and learn from.
From Our President

Valley View Acquires Arrowhead Farm
February 15, 2015
After 164 years of stewardship, yesterday the Gatch family officially transferred ownership of Arrowhead Farm to Valley View. Valley View is thrilled to now open this amazing place to the community. You can access Arrowhead Farm from the driveway located at 780 Garfield Avenue, Milford, Ohio 45150 (at the Milford Pottery sign). In the months ahead, our volunteers will improve trails to connect Arrowhead Farm to our existing trail system. We will also be giving tours of this special land and historic home. We hope you enjoy our three historic barns, our "new" 205 year old stone farmhouse and Cathy's Gatch's Milford Pottery all situated on 190 acres of permanently protected greenspace at Valley View. As we enter a new phase in the story of Valley View, with more buildings and land to maintain and improve, now is a great time to make a donation and get involved as a volunteer. Thanks to all who have helped us make this historic day possible, most notably the Gatch family, the City of Milford, Clermont County, Clermont County Park District and the Clean Ohio Fund.
