Conserving Land, Preserving History and Sharing with the Community

Our property is open to the public at no charge and includes miles of walking trails. We installed a deer fence and automated irrigation system to create a community garden. More than 40 families and a Cub Scout Pack from Mt. Lookout grew plots in the garden last year. Given the strong interest in this community activity, we tripled the size of the garden in 2011. We welcome new gardeners to Valley View. The garden brings together families and friends from across Greater Cincinnati.
A Little About Us
Valley View is a 150-acre nature preserve and education facility located near the confluence of the East Fork and Little Miami Rivers in Milford, Clermont County, Ohio. Valley View Foundation is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation. We have an all volunteer board and a part time Executive Director - Vanessa Hannah. We were formed in 2002 by residents of Milford and others who were interested in preserving a historic farm and ecosystem for current and future generations to enjoy and learn from.
From Our President
“ On behalf of the Board of Directors of Valley View Foundation, I welcome you to our website and encourage you to visit our property, make a donation and get involved. This land truly is your land and we hope you come out and enjoy it all year round.”

Update on Clean Ohio Grant to Purchase Arrowhead Farm
January 18, 2015
On November 20, 2014, the District 10 Natural Resources Assistance Council (NRAC) awarded Valley View a grant from the Clean Ohio Fund to acquire historic Arrowhead Farm. Since then we have been completing numerous steps required by the Clean Ohio program such as lining up title insurance, surveys and legal descriptions and having professional appraisers review and verify the appraisals that Valley View obtained last summer. All of these tasks have been completed. We have submitted a package of information to the Ohio Public Works Commission. Once the OPWC gives us the authorization to proceed, we will provide final documentation to OPWC, they will issue a check to the title company and we will schedule a closing. We are hoping all of these steps can be completed and title transfers to Valley View by mid February. We will keep you updated.
